The Oasiskids Team provides creative learning adventures to help kids
experience more of God. Our team is divided into
four sub-teams:
Nursery (0-22 months), two Pre-School
classes
(ages 2-3 and 4-5) and an elementary school class
(ages 6-12) . There's always a need for people who love
kids!

our neighbours.

The Prayer Team
encourages the prayer life of Oasis - making dependence on
God through talking to him foundational to our church. The
Prayer Team organizes Sunday morning prayer, leads

Charleswood School each Sunday and as a result a vital team is the Set Up Team. Each
week this team unloads the trailers, sets up the auditorium,

Student Ministry Team |

The Student Ministry Teams exist to provide an open and safe
place for students in grades 6-8 (COLLIDE) and 9-12 (InsideOut)
to grow in their love for God and for one another in a fun
and relevant environment. Team involvement may include:
investing in students' lives, leading small groups,
participating in weekly and annual events, making meals, and

What does the Bible say about
serving? |

The Bible says: “It
was he (Jesus) who gave some to be apostles, some to be
prophets, some to be evangelists and some to be pastors and
teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so
that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach
unity in the faith.” Ephesians 4:11-13.
At Oasis we believe that
every member is a minister (a servant). Serving is using whatever God
has given us to serve him and the needs of others. We
serve in 3 directions: to God, to other Christ-Followers
and to people who do not have a relationship with God.
The
goals of our strategic service teams are to glorify God, to help others
grow, and to grow ourselves.
